New, full-time opportunity with one of the world’s leading suppliers of software and systems to the media, broadcast and video streaming industry.
The Systems Engineer role is varied, working with project and operations teams to deliver and support state-of-the-art software and applications for professional broadcast media customers in the region.
Covering both operational and technical functions, the Systems Engineer will undertake assigned project and support tasks including, new installations, configuration, upgrades, testing and troubleshooting as well as operational activities such as pre-sales and user training activities.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Customer demos of software and applications.
- Deploy, install, configure, test and upgrade systems.
- Training customer staff as the subject matter expert.
- Prompt escalated break-fix and troubleshooting.
What we need:
We’re looking for a Systems Engineer keen to apply their devops, applications or systems skills in a high-profile broadcast, TV media and video streaming environment.
This role provides new systems installations plus critical customer support for the latest in broadcast studio and production automation software, so a background in similar technology and broadcast domain knowledge is essential.
We’re looking for a track record in the following:
- Software or applications delivery experience.
- Cross platform IT skills – Linux preferred.
- Experience writing or fixing code in Python or Perl.
- Approachable customer facer with excellent communication skills;
- Self-motivated to meet objectives.

This is a hybrid working environment with headquarters based in North Sydney. The successful candidate should expect to be able to work from home 3-4 days per week.
